'The Shap, Settle & Carlisle' was a tour run on 10th March between Tyseley Warwick Road and Carlisle returning via the Settle line. It was steam hauled by 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe and 46201 Princess Elizabeth from Carnforth, however, upon arrival at Carlisle 'Lizzie' was failed with a hot box leaving the 'Castle' to continue alone.
